Welcome to the 131st Code of Conduct page

The following is the Code Of Conduct for 131st VFS. All members of the 131st are expected to read this Code Of Conduct and agree to it's content and intent and adhere to it.

1). CHEATING WILL NOT BE TOLERATED: If you are found to be cheating you will be discharged immediately! This is only a game and there is no room for a cheater in the 131st. A decision by the command staff will be made regarding any accusations of cheating. Accusations made outside of the 131st are considered hearsay, and do not hold the same weight as accusations made by 131st members. You will be given the opportunity to defend yourself.
2). DO NOT ACCUSE OTHER MEMBERS OF CHEATING IN AN OPEN FORUM: Being accused of cheating is humiliating enough if it is not true. It is therefore against the 131st code of conduct to accuse any of their own of cheating other than to a superior officer. Accusing another member of an infraction in an open forum is strictly forbidden and can result in dismissal from the squad. Remember, allot more times than not lag is responsible for bouncing planes and other wild looking stuff.
3). RESPECT THE CHAIN OF COMMAND AND OTHER MEMBERS OF THE 131ST: It is your responsibility as a member of the 131st to know who your leaders are and what rank you are in. It is not the intention of higher ranking officers to take the fun out of the game by constantly barking out orders, but they have been here longer so they know what to expect. We are all here to play the game with teamwork and get along with each other.
4). PARTICIPATE: Participation in squad activities, such as the 131st ladder, or matches against other squads, is why we are here. If you don't participate, you will evaporate! In other words non participants will be placed on inactive status and not be allowed to participate in squad matches, and will not be promoted.
5). RESPECT OTHER PLAYERS AND OTHER SQUADS: Treat other players as you would like them to treat you. There may come a time when the guy you ragged on becomes a member of the squad. It won't help the 131st if you become confrontational with other players. Making rude comments or accusations of other players is looked down upon. Remember, your attitude reflects on our squad, so be nice! If you get mad, walk away. There will be times that we compete against other squads in matches so don't be a ragging winner or a sore looser about victories or loses. No one wants to play against those people.
6). SET AN EXAMPLE: As a member of the 131st your reputation as a player reflects on the squad as a whole. And the reputation of the squad also reflects on it's members. So conduct yourself with respect and restraint. Save your hostility for the game, not the chat room.
7). PROVIDE ASSISTANCE: Many members of the 131st are new at fighter simulations. It is therefore very important that each and every member of the squad assist each other. If a member asks for your help in polishing his skills, help him. If you have any particular skills or tactics that might benefit other squad members, share them!
